Coalition Weekly meetings - what a waste of opportunity

So given the major issues being debated by the rest of the country, predominantly the education of our children, the Coalition instead choose to spend almost their entire time at their weekly conference (possibly the last for the year) listening and agreeing (except for Turnbull) to Bernardi waffle on about his opinion on the ABC.

And Abbott thinks the discussion about the ABC (which generated no decisions) was important enough to brief reporters about after the meeting.

Aren't there debates to be had? Policies to formulate? Real issues to grapple with?

When are they going to start running the country? Nothing of any substance has occurred so far and now they will stop sitting for a couple of months which means Australia will have remained stagnant for 5-6 months.

I don't know about the rest of you but this inaction is frustrating to watch.

I thought Bernardi was on the Gold Coast officially opening a new theme park-Goat World.

all it demonstrates is their obsession with controlling the flow of information.  they only approve if it benefits them and their agenda.
