There was a movie set in the future where a form of entertainment was commercial jingles.

Sandra Bullock and some guy.

Advertisements are not entertaining; they are a way, a method, a device engineered to separate you and me from our hard earned cash.

They are not fun. they are very sophisticated ploys enacted by very highly paid psychologists who want to take our money for things we don't need and for things we never thought we needed until we saw their adverts.

I don't want or need  their stinking thneeds.
