Correct Me If I'm Wrong, But...........

There are many of us here who could testify to the generosity of posters on CS at times when a member has been in need. However I cannot recall (until today) anyone feeling the need to embarrass the recipient (and shame themselves) by bragging about their donation.

the 'other party' saw the post on the thread long before he saw the PM (which was sent through the eBay messages). It sometimes takes a while for ebay to forward the email PLUS I didn't see that email until some time AFTER the posts.

I have however looked at the time the eBay message was sent, as recorded in my messages = 11:44.

The post is gone now, but the first response to that post was at: 11:48 so we can assume that the original post was some time before that? When I do not know.

The 'poor me act' - was neither looking for sympathy NOR an 'act'. It was purely to find information about the problem my wife is suffering with. I received much help and consolation from the many replies and thank you all for that.

She had her line put in today and while I was speaking to her, they came to take her for her liver scan, so our conversation was cut short. She seems a little better ... well, she's back to biting 😉 anyway which is encouraging.

We are going up to see her tomorrow and our eldest is going on Sunday.

Does anyone know if they will send her home with the line in??

It will possibly depend on her condition?

are you giving her something to bite on? 😮 you know she isn't liking it there...... stop baiting her :^O

I guess so. I don't know the results of the liver scan yet either - maybe they'll tell me tomorrow? On second thoughts I guess there will only be a skeleton crew on the weekend and no-one will know much at all?

I concur with the 11:44 PM sent time, and also have my board post recorded at being on the notice board thread at 11:46, some two minutes later.

Even though that clearly proves I was telling the truth concerning the timing of PM and message board delivery it doesn't explain why you made a number of posts later (After reading the PM/s) but made no attempt to quell the wrongful accusations.

Hence my comment of 'poor me act'.

I have nothing further to say on this matter.
