Well at least he knows his limitations. Have to give Abbott credit for that.

Seems Tanya and the left and haters went off half cocked as usual.
Tanya and the left really needs to stop listening to the press and get their own facts correct
Abbott has not cancelled any meetings as yet but meetings with the IMF and World Bank "Are in doubt" because of schedules."
The old saying "never let the truth get in the way of a good story" seems to apply here and as always it does with the left.
Keep going as its so funny to watch.

he won't meet with the economists because he's been lying to us and he knows it
perhaps he knows he won't be able to convince them that it's all "labors fault"'

About what, for instance? Does he answer to them?

Well for one I suspect that Chritine Lagarde would be pretty keen to dicuss his (near non-existent) policies on climate change for a start.
I agree that (with her intelligence and wit) she would be one scary lady for someone like Abbott. But he could have still given it a go instead of bailing out "due to scheduling". After all she is considered one of the most powerful women in the world and one any country would want to have on their side.
Particular as we are leading the summit in November.
He doesn't have to answer to anyone except the Australian people but he does have global obligations.

And nero, I am sure that Plibersek (as did the media) would have reviewed his schedules and realised that 2 of the most important and influential people (who also happened to have criticised Australia for lack of policies) have been conveniently "scheduled" out in order for him to meet with less important US officials.
And unfortunately, it is NOT funny to watch.

What business are the Australian government's policies of hers?

On side for what? We're already on the US's side.

Why in particular?

Which he is meeting, as far as I can see

So, because Abbott probably will not now meet Lagarde of the IMF, and the World Bank's Dr Kim, he is a coward.
Does it not reduce his "cowardice rating" that Abbott met Lagarde when she visited Australia last February, and Hockey has previously met with the heads of the IMF and the World Bank, and will hold further meetings in July, and they will attend the G20 summit in November.
SMH Feb 2014
The IMF chief, who oversees more than $1 trillion in loan capacity, applauded Prime Minister Tony Abbott's promise to try to use his chairmanship of this year's G20 economic summit in Brisbane to produce a brief and practical communique, but she warned it would not be easy.
OK, no medal of bravery, how about a mention in dispatches (easy to C&P) when Abbott meets Reserve Bank governor Janet Yellen and US Treasury Secretary Jack Lew, among many other US meetings.
Breaking news. It is understood that Abbott has decided that meeting Obama takes precedence over the now cancelled tête-à-tête arranged with Uncle Tom Cobley.

no, it's better to leave such unbiased (lolololololololololololol) posting to the blue goat.
