Crafty sewers - advice please

I want to attach one of these  nurse pouches /pick bags

to my scrubs.

and be able to unattach it after each shift for washing

I don't want to use the waist strap but want to somehow attach it to my uniform pocket

any ideas from crafty sewers  -    and something a sewing newbie like me can manage

I was thinking of sewing press studs on the uniform and bag but not sure of this will hold and I don;t  want to do any obvious

changes to the uniform top

A small press stud could be put inside the pocket, attaching it to the uniform, to keep it from gaping open, and then the zip sewn on the outside of the pocket- you would only see one row of zip ' teeth ' when not in use with the pouch/pocket..

Does the pouch go inside the pocket of outside?

I use the strong studs rather than the small sew on variety and they would definitley hold the pocket closed.

Press fasteners, the ones you apply with a hand press. I have one, cost me less than $20 on ebay. Kam snaps.

They are very strong, you can then apply one side to the uniform (or several uniforms) and the other to the bag and it is interchangeable!

If you find you only need it the once, you can onsell it.
