DDU can I ask you about your chooks? You do have chooks don't you?
Roughly what sort of cage do you have i.e. wooden? How many chooks & what/how much do you feed them? I searched chook houses on ebay, do you suggest a good one?

Klarry what is needed to fox proof a chook house? We were thinking wire underneath and perhaps sleepers too? Are snakes & rats a problem?

Any information would be good ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi DDU she came back this morning. She was hiding somewhere? She slept out all night, lucky the area is fairly fox proof. She's the smallest and they all pick on her ๐Ÿ˜ž And the rooster jumps her all the time, more than the others. I think I have to take her back to the chicken man as it's not a happy life for her ๐Ÿ˜ž

Anyway she joined the others sometime after I let them out this morning.

Yes love that snake pic.

There is a fox hanging around too as I've seen it a few times during the day now, we have no gun!

I would like a fox trap but some wildlife person went on how you have to have it completely hidden, covered in leaves and no human smell yadda yadda

Sounded all too hard. Might look into it again.. let me know how you go with it.
