If this was said by anyone from the LNP or the right the left and would be screaming the place down but NO not a word from the left for this misogynistic attack
This is a most disgusting attack from this utter nutter
Credlin does not deserve this attack on her
Palmer unrepentant on Credlin attack
Julie Bishop joined in the criticism, saying she hopes Mr Palmer reflects on his "hurtful" comments about Ms Credlin, who has been struggling with IVF treatment.
"For him to single her out is a particularly hurtful thing for him to do," she told Sky News.

She is not the only political 'staffer to be the target of misogyny. Some are even targetted by their own side.
(from wikepedia)
Liberal prime minister John Gorton got the media treatment when he took a young female journalist to a late-night party at the US embassy. His appointment of Ainslie Gotto, 22, as his principal private secretary had the nation goggle-eyed. The appointment inspired a sacked minister to declare the reason for his downfall: "It wiggles, it's shapely and its name is Ainsley Gotto."
The sacked minister was a Liberal. I recall much amusement in the press, but was there an outcry from either side after that disgusting remark?

I don't think she qualifies as a" run of the mill Public Servant" especially the level of payment of the vast majority of Public Servants.
She is described as : is a political advisor who is the current chief of staff to the Prime Minister of Australia,

"struggling with IVF"...well I am waiting for the comments from our conservatives, like the helpful comments about our unemployed, you know...they just aren't trying hard enough.

It beats me why we are all supposed to know about her struggles with IVF.
If it's private then why would anyone know?
Who made it public? Would that be abbott when he was trying to convince people he is not a sexist hypocrite?

Yes indeed, it was he.

Well sorry to say I have no sympathy for him or her.
It was she who wandered around with the Gillard dirt file under her arm. I didn't once hear her condemn the oafs in the Libs for their sexist jokes and lack of respect for the female PM. As she chose to put her fertility problems out there the left can't be blamed when someone from the right brings it up. Apart from that he didn't have a go at her about not having children. He said she would benefit from the PPL scheme, whether he's right or wrong about that is another matter.

The Fairfax MP [Clive Palmer] has come under fire after accusing the government in Parliament on Monday of designing its paid parental leave scheme ''just so that the Prime Minister's chief-of-staff can receive a massive benefit when she gets pregnant''.
Labor has also chimed in on the criticism, with leader Bill Shorten describing Mr Palmer's attack on Ms Credlin as ''unwarranted and wrong''.
''Our arguments should be about the issues,'' Mr Shorten said.
''There is more than enough wrong with Tony Abbott’s unfair and unaffordable paid parental leave scheme for politicians to focus on, just ask any Liberal or National Party MP.''
Labor's deputy leader Tanya Plibersek said: ''Members of Parliament should not make personal attacks, especially on staff.
