Considering the prediction regarding the future of Abbott is based solely on the opinion of b1g his or here post is irrelevant.

I can't agree with that statement. What boris1gary stated is widely reported in the mainstream media, and is very relevant. It is not only one persons view. Plenty of links posted on CS to show this.

Abbott has 14 months in the job (not just been appointed as your link only covered).... His future is based on those 14 months, so far he and his ministers are doing poorly, as reflected in the Polls.

Then I respectfully suggest you do a google search. The knives are out for TA in a big way over the past 48 hours. Even Bolt et al are in for the kill now. Boris1's comment is on par with a large part of social media and some of the MSM of recent times.

He will rely on the old trick and use our cargo cult mentality. In the run up to the next election it will be a case of "Australians have done the hard yards and now they will benefit". It will be a case of tax cuts, generous portions of pie for everyone, a reminder that the boats have stopped with a scare thrown in about how bill shorterm wants to aid the people smugglers, and the usual showering of gifts that a grateful voting public will welcome. The memories will have faded by then. Don't forget you're dealing with voters who have the concentration span of at least 5 seconds. Why do you think they have how to vote cards numbered 1,2,3,4,5 etc. The average punter can't count beyond a trifecta.

It's classic politics as practised by our very own politicasters.

Ahhhhhhh, the world according to Google. Would a Google search bring up a heap of people saying Abbott was unelectable? Would social media and some MSM heavies back then have said Abbott was unelectable? Even ALP stooge Bob Ellis was saying that his tracking of social media would see an ALP victory (in 2013) of at least 25 seats.

Can you recall the outcome? All Abbott has to do is take the advice of Rudd and Gillard. They have told him not to stand at the kerb in case he has an accident.
