As it's more than 100 days now, it has been suggested that a new thread was needed. The current govt has been breaking promises and telling lies at a rate so fast it's hard to keep up.
This below is worrying, "independent" pffft, as if your own doctor is somehow what? biased, it's ridiculous. So far there is talk of only including people under a certain age 30-35, for now. Remember that if your injured in a car, injured at work or get ill, you too might need to go on the DSP. They have done a similar think in the UK with devastating consequences.
and this is the 2nd time recently where the Govt has referred to work as welfare???? So when you go to work tomorrow (or tuesday), just remember that's welfare.

Independent doctors could be called in to reassess disability pensioners, Federal Government says
The Federal Government is considering using independent doctors to examine disability pensioners and assess whether they should continue to receive payments.
Currently family doctors provide reports supporting claims for the Disability Support Pension (DSP).
But Social Services Minister Kevin Andrews is considering a measure that would see independent doctors reassess eligibility.
"We are concerned that where people can work, the best form of welfare is work," Mr Andrews said at a press conference.

Thank you, but I'll be the one to determine how I spend my time and how I enjoy my experiences thank you very much.

Who has the vinegar now?
What an extraordinary answer to my good wishes. That is what they were, nothing more, nothing less.

In light of your previous posts, that's how your good wishes were taken.

D9275 you have written of myself that : " you posted " shorten will be gone in a week" by Rowan Dean ( in March. I think that was,)" so produce the post.
However, this past "defence" , from the list will not be compelling:
" I remember them very well so not necessary for me to search for them."
Also mentioned: "Well researched NOT" Why would I research a comment I did not make?
Try this on for size:
D9275 you posted: "The retiree on $757,267 will not be eligible for any pension payment, and will receive $43,467 income based on a 3 per cent return. " by Laura Tingle ( in May. I think that was,)"
Terrible maths and "Well researched NOT"
I know the defence that will be forthcoming:
"Really it's the job of the journo to research what they're putting to print, that responsibility doesn't lie with people reposting their articles on a chat board"
NOT ME defence
PS
In the real world (reality) out there, and as applied by the "Mods" within our "chat board" :
"it is no defence to argue that you are only repeating rumours or a comment made by somebody else: you can be liable for a republication."
That applies even if you are unable to add any original meaningful/original contribution to a C&P.!

it's true I don't post on a lot of threads and nor do I start endless threads every time I have a ''thought bubble" . I'm not really the attention seeking type does it bother you that I post on CS? I really can't see that it's any of your business what I do to be honest
I kind of like my freedom to post where and when I choose to as well

yes I like my freedom just the same as you do - it's a shame I am so 'watched' though
and you are a much different person to the one I thought you were, once upon a time
