As it's more than 100 days now, it has been suggested that a new thread was needed. The current govt has been breaking promises and telling lies at a rate so fast it's hard to keep up.
This below is worrying, "independent" pffft, as if your own doctor is somehow what? biased, it's ridiculous. So far there is talk of only including people under a certain age 30-35, for now. Remember that if your injured in a car, injured at work or get ill, you too might need to go on the DSP. They have done a similar think in the UK with devastating consequences.
and this is the 2nd time recently where the Govt has referred to work as welfare???? So when you go to work tomorrow (or tuesday), just remember that's welfare.

Independent doctors could be called in to reassess disability pensioners, Federal Government says
The Federal Government is considering using independent doctors to examine disability pensioners and assess whether they should continue to receive payments.
Currently family doctors provide reports supporting claims for the Disability Support Pension (DSP).
But Social Services Minister Kevin Andrews is considering a measure that would see independent doctors reassess eligibility.
"We are concerned that where people can work, the best form of welfare is work," Mr Andrews said at a press conference.

OK monman, what's going on?
You've made 5 or 6 posting and not one irrelevant graph

Perhaps he's finding it too taxing.

I have the impression that some can not differentiate an X-axis from a Y -axis, transpose a database, or more probably are unwilling to accept what a graph might portray.
However, this MYOP graph was chosen, I would suggest, for its political appeal, not accuracy, e.g. :-
If one bothers to check (sorry) the ministerial "demise" figures portrayed before posting the C&P, one would find the above "graph" (?) is incorrect, or more likely skewed.
The correct figures for Ministerial Resignations and Dismissals starting with the Whitlam era are:
Whitlam 4
Fraser 9
Hawk 5
Keating 3
Howard 9
Rudd 1
Gillard 12
Comments:
Howard's 12 year term produced 9 ministerial "sunsets" NINE, not 25
There is an actual total of 13 for the Circus period, but the graph presented indicates only THREE.
I repeat: some can not transpose a database, or just like pink fudge!

yep, you're right. here's the list
lots of resignations over the Gillard/Rudd leadership
Howard govt. mainly over impropriety

this morning's big news
The Environment Department, the minister's office, Queensland's Labor government and Adani are insisting the issue is an administrative matter that will be resolved.
Adani blamed the court's decision on an error by the environment department.
"It is regrettable that a technical legal error from the Federal Environment Department has exposed the approval to an adverse decision," Adani's spokesman said.
"It should be noted the approval did include appropriate conditions to manage the species protection of the yakka skink and ornamental snake.
"However, we have been advised that, because certain documents were not presented by the Department in finalising the approval, it created a technical legal vulnerability that is better to address now."

"yep, you're right. here's the list"
Correct, that was my researched reference. So where did the somewhat dodgy graph results originate?

Oh gosh a possible believer ! As you mention your minds, and not wishing to generate stress, I will start at a suitable level and proceed from there when progress is achieved.
First rule to remember is no fudging the figures, or no ice cream. Remember it this way :-
Fudge = no ice cream
No fudge = ice cream

Is that a chart? What has happened to graphs of no particular relevance
