As it's more than 100 days now, it has been suggested that a new thread was needed. The current govt has been breaking promises and telling lies at a rate so fast it's hard to keep up.
This below is worrying, "independent" pffft, as if your own doctor is somehow what? biased, it's ridiculous. So far there is talk of only including people under a certain age 30-35, for now. Remember that if your injured in a car, injured at work or get ill, you too might need to go on the DSP. They have done a similar think in the UK with devastating consequences.
and this is the 2nd time recently where the Govt has referred to work as welfare???? So when you go to work tomorrow (or tuesday), just remember that's welfare.

Independent doctors could be called in to reassess disability pensioners, Federal Government says
The Federal Government is considering using independent doctors to examine disability pensioners and assess whether they should continue to receive payments.
Currently family doctors provide reports supporting claims for the Disability Support Pension (DSP).
But Social Services Minister Kevin Andrews is considering a measure that would see independent doctors reassess eligibility.
"We are concerned that where people can work, the best form of welfare is work," Mr Andrews said at a press conference.

Must be the only way some can see their words in print ?
Full or part-time employment or voluntary work might be a better alternative and make a more worthwhile contribution to society
I worked for almost 60 years. Not doing any more, thanks for the offer, though.

However the other posts do not actually answer my question as to which other posters mentioned a twinkle in Julie B's eye... because in this side debate the term "twinkle" has a specific connotation!.
As for research and accuracy, your first comment below from a past post was in regard to the "spill", not the PM's long-term future ( I know the past is not your favourite topic), whilst the second is fiction.
"That is not the point I made in my post though is it? The PM is about to be ousted..........."" He hasn't been in the area he was in the last couple of days for 10 years...................."
Are you splitting hairs now over twinkle, twinkling and sparkle 'of the eyes'? If son, good luck with that.
That is not the point I made in my post though is it? The PM is about to be ousted.
I still stand by that assertion. Does it state what date I said he is to be ousted? No, it does not. I made other posts which stated the same.. that if he doesn't go this week, it still will happen. When? We will have to wait and see what develops.
*" He hasn't been in the area he was in the last couple of days for 10 years................
I love that, the above* still bothers you so much... good bait.. wasn't it? At least it shows people do read my posts.

She could have done what other advisors have done, and watch from her office. But she used to sit quite close to him, possibly to pass advice.
Have you seen the clips on television of her finger pointing and scowling at various MPs? I am sure she is part of the reason that he is being shunned. Sort of a parent/child relationship, and that is bad news for any PM.

There is a photo of Abbott with the Dutch PM (I think, re MH370) and other officials seated a long a table and there she is sitting 2 seats down from Abbott.
Yes, I have seen the photos of her with her doing that.
Here is a couple of examples.

To you? Not to me, I am not allowed to speak for others, apparently.
I do think though if the author of a post says their post has no sleazy connotations in it, then I would believe them.
I think (my opinion only) this is the common meaning of the word twinkle, when associated with eyes.

I find it interesting that the ASX has dropped today.
They're saying TLS is looking overvalued too
I find it interesting that A3 might be following the ASX "scores", as a lot of it is history (including the Circus days) which is why I bought a lot of TLS.
However TLS at its current price is close to becoming overvalued as it will return 4.65 %, with FF =6.59% (my TLS are returning 14% on investment),
Thus TLS are not overvalued (yet) and are a secure stock. As for the all-ords, here is today's "interesting" (boring) chart:
Historical TLS and XAO (sorry A3)
