I was absolutely riveted!
Two Guys find this derelict Water Tower in London and fall in love with it:
It cost a fortune to restore and make it liveable. You'd think it was crazy, but they were doing to preserve it for future generations and for their names to go down in history. The result was absolutely STUNNING.

HAHA
I know, OH and I did a double-take at that too, so did Kevin McCloud, I think. He's probably waiting for his invite

Very cool. I love that show.
If I had money..........

Yes, it was great, absolutely stunning what they did with it, but soooooooooooooo impractical. Would you want to live in a place spread over 8 floors and with a lift only to the 4th floor? 🙂

I watched and was in awe of the work they did on that old tower.
I could never enjoy the view, I think I would be sick in their top lounge room with all that glass around me and being so high up.
I think they spent more than 2 million in the end but it sure was worth it.

We watched it .I like seeing old buildings restored .
I had a bit of trouble not thinking that that building that this self confessed show off is spending millions of pounds on used to supply water to the poorest of the poor in the workhouse ... the workhouse and the hospital building didn't stand the test of time I don't think ?
The owner has already made a name for himself ..a google search reveals this .

did anyone see the shots in the same show of the Sewerage treatment plant ? Wow that is a lavish building

I couldn't believe how much money they spent. It was a tad ridiculous.

Was that the 1930's sewerage plant? I;m not sure it was Grand Designs. Maybe that other (shortlived) show hosted by that English actress who's name I can't remember. She was in Men Behaving Badly.
