Joono
I have to ask. Was it the puppies swimming in the fountain that broke the cherubs wing lol?
on 17-07-2014 05:13 PM
yes Joono, you can claim it

Thanks Pimpy 😄 I don't think my vote will change the result. It will be for my favourite so far and at this stage it is not in the running but I reckon it will get some late votes.

I really hope people aren't breaking there stuff just to get a vote

Not me, I have 2 broken ornaments, that I have kept.. hoping to get them fixed one day maybe.. clean breaks.
I have trouble parting with stuff, but not broken things - out they go.
Wally is a bit 'pale' in colour in that biscuit photo. Getting sneaky

I thought Wally looked a bit pale in my paddle boat pic too. Maybe the shrinking process takes away pixels and leaves him a bit lack lustre. Poor Wally.
I have a broken jug I need to photograph, and a few other bits and pices, I just haven't got to it yet. And I have spotted a few other things around the place so I'll try and get out on the weekend if the weather is kind.

there ya go Joz, I painted your wall and swept your mat for you
Do you sell the bikes? or do you have shed full of them. I didn't think there was much of a market for 2nd hand bikes. The Tender Centres (auctions houses) are always full of them over here on the east coast.

gee pimpy, you even got rid of the water stain on the floor, cheers
i need to start selling them again, the place is getting a tad over crowed
ive been averaging a $100 a pop
i get everything free from gumtree, from complete bikes that are in need of repair, to stacks of bikes suitable for parts or overhauls
ive never got one in perfect nick for free. in most situations they give 'em away to avoid paying the expense of a bike mechanic
theres a couple i don't want to part with, well.. not yet untill i get better quality ones, a shogun mountain and a raleigh roadie. the roadie is altogether and original just needs a service, re grease all ball bearings etc hasnt been ridden in 30 years (apparently)
i dont have any probs selling them, price 'em right and make sure theyre in good working order when offered

Joe--make sure you put a saddle on that bike before riding it .........Richo.

I went for a quick wander through a bike shop on the weekend. They had these retro style bikes for 7 hundred dollars!!! For the life of me I couldn't see why they were worth that much. I think they were an Electra brand.
