I agree that posting that fake image on twitter is a reprehensible thing for the Chinese Government to do, but I'm not sure exactly what "keep them OUT of Au" means?

It means how it reads, stop allowing so many Chinese to settle in Au. If China is so wonderful, the perhaps they need to stay living there.
Sounds racist? Care factor is zero

That's the issue.
The Chinese government is upset that we haven't allowed them to buy the entire country.
ACA, the bastion of investigative journalism, is apparently running a story tonight about Chinese owned land being closed to locals. I don't know how it compares to Australian-owned properties that don't allow people to wander over them, but I'm sure ACA haven't done that comparison.

What about Australians of chinese ancestry then. Many whose familys have lived in Australia for several generations. How do you think they feel when they read comments like yours?
In fact, why should a person from China be responsible for something the Chinese government did? It's not like they voted for their government.

Thrashing about internationally can be a cover for protracted internal national management problems , due at the moment possibly from inhibiting covid-19 after-effects on the surviving population
For us little antipodean munskins is best just to put a cheery positive spin on any unseemly imagery and seek to resolve the issues in a calm and sincere and fair manner

Possibly as angry..
They are Australians - they left - to achieve a better life.
Where was it mentioned they were/are responsible.
Most that I know are as PP'd as us - actually they are now US.

Not only does China still have it in for Australia, but the Russian Government has joined in now. The Russian and Chinese partnership is a threat to the Western world, including Australia. They are not only a serious military threat, they have the ability to badly hurt us economically. Australia's reliance on China places us in a position where China can control future relationships and trade agreements. IMO, Morrison needs to think very deeply about this reliance on China, and how long our Government will tolerate such threats as, "Australians will know how it feels like to walk into the dark."
