Dishwashers. Which brand and why.

I think ours is about to die so it's time I did some thinking about a replacement.
Which brands would you recommend, (from personal experience. I know I can google reviews) and why.
Speed, good spot free drying, and quietness are high on my list of requirements.

Yeah, but you need the dishwasher to hide the plates in so they're not sitting on the sink for 2 weeks

or disposable paper plates

and if you wanted clear the dishes daily , being single theres not a great deal there

running a machine full cycle just to do that would be over kill

quicker easier to do by hand, probably healthier too

Lurker, being such a liberated person you should acquire yourself a subservient partner or two to all the chores that are beneath your liberated station in life 🙂

They could be utilised in other areas as well besides washing dishes according to your whim 🙂

Lurker, whenever I buy an electrical appliance I always look for the one with the least amount of elctronics and bells and whistles.

Less stuff to break down.

All the fqancy touch button wizz bank stuff costs a firtune to fix, I like the old fashioned stuff with the knobs and dials etc. iykwim.

The more features something has, the more opportunity for something to break down.

As for dishwashers, I have 3 - Big Crikey, Middle Crikey and Little Crikey. Not only do they wash the dishes, thy put them away and wipe down the benches etc as well. (admittedly sometimes they do need a bit of warm encouragement though)

Liberated ladies of this forum, do you think that your partner should do the washing up seeing that you cooked the meal?

Your assuming again. We both cook and both clean. No specified roles in this household.

That was one of the reasons M liked the w'house crikey. It has simple easy to use controls.
