I've noticed I seem to respond more to hay fever these days but don't remember it having much of an effect on me when I was younger.
I also noticed when I eat prawns now I get a slight itchness which I don't recall ever having.
Is this an age thing???

I suffered severely with ecexema (sp) as a baby and toddler, then was free from it, now that I am in my 60's it has returned, dr. said it is due to age.
Have tried various ointments on it, nothing much seems to work.

Cinnamon has positives and negatives - eg it has been shown to have some anti-viral effects and has been used in HIV/AIDS research, but can also cause liver damage in some individuals, and there are legislated limits to how much can be added to processed foods such as breads and pastries.

Allergic rhinitis (hay fever) typically starts in early childhood with symptoms peaking in the second, third and fourth decades of life.

I also carry an epipen. I've been to A&E about 4-5 times in the last 4 years.
Bob, I'd leave out the prawns. It starts with slight itchyness and can go pear shaped real quick.

Ms. Mioux.........do you need a script for an epipen?

it seems to now; as child I have never had it and I did not know anybody who had it. We used to spend summer in the countryside helping with hay, and climbing the stack of hay in the shed. i used to also ride, and so spent time in stables, giving horses some hay. I remember reading a book when I was about 15 and when hay fever was mentioned, I asked my mum what was that - that was the very first time I heard that expression. Nowadays, every second kid has it. 😞 Another reason to reduce pollution and plastic in our environment.
