He doesn't remember seeing the menu at the charity event he was guest of honour at?

For a man that loves his food I am absolutely sure he would have glanced at the menu, it would also have been a huge talking point, amazing it has not leaked earlier - just goes to show the people that attended have absolutely no decorum - it is just not funny at all.

So if I arranged for a menu to indicate that Gillard/Bishop wear army boots, the matriarchs here (someone is sensitive to "Sisters" ) and the other 3.5 billion female population would be insulted and put me on ignore.
FN: "What the hell has army boots got to do with depicting the PM as having a fat thighs and a big red box?
Are you acting dumb, or deliberately insulting females for fun?
I guess you do not comprehend what this means:
TGSE: "And when a dinner menu is used to make derogatory comments about a woman's personal appearance then it is an insult to ALL women not just the one named."
Simple explanation.
1. TGSE writes that a derogatory comment about a woman's personal appearance, on a menu, is an insult to ALL women.
2. I suggest that I write a hypothetical derogatory (bi-partisan) comment, on a menu, about a woman's appearance,
3. It thus follows that all women (3,5 billion) will be insulted by my comment.
Assuming of course that they have no sense of humour, or knowledge of history.

Do you require the same level of proof when it's Gillard or Labor under attack?
My interest in this is NOT political - have you ever seen me wade into any political debate or discussion in anything other than a superficial manner? (I recall giving my opinion about unions, but even that wasn't meant to be political.)
I do however recall saying that whether we liked the PM or not, she was our Prime Minister and thus deserved our respect and that whilst some people perceived she may not be doing her job well that no one could know how well anyone would perform in any job until they were actually doing it.
So please, do not try and twist my interjections about this into some kind of political favouritism - my comments pertain solely to the hospitality industry.

Far out.. don;t you think that the Union fundraisers are any better????
There have been some real low jokes and comments made at those fundraisers too.
Both sides do it.. both sides make jokes and denigrate each other...
and yes I did laugh when I read the menu... then I thought someone is in big trouble... and then I thought that if this were between two men it would not even make the news but because it is a joke about a woman it is all over the news.
The union has at least made an effort to educate and reform those sexist attitudes.
They are not the old boys clubs of the past and have been proactive in changing attitudes in the workplace. I have some experience in this area, forcing change upon the old unionists attitudes. :^O

OMG Really Freaki? :^O
Where was your disapproval about Fred Nile, his fiance and al dente pasta analogy??
I don't agree with the suggestion that John doesn't get it. He gets it. While he and I disagree on many issues, at least he is able to remain objective.
That was a forum discussion not on a menu for an LNP function.
Fred Nile is not the PM and put himself out there with his woman sitting on knee not being sexually mocked at an event.

As I said, you just don't get it, so it would be pointless my trying to explain it to you.
I suspect it comes from all those years you spent in the 'boys club' of the armed services where, up until recently at least, casual misogyny was seen as normal and natural.

Is there any PROOF that these menus were actually distributed at the Joe Hocky function??? Or is this just another Labour smear campaign?:|

Having said that, if it turns out to be true. I agree that it is very low and uncalled for.

Mal Brough is standing in my electorate on 14th Sept.

It was a fundraising dinner for Mal Brough, Gill. Joe Hockey was apparently the guest of honour.
