I think I'm dyslexic with numbers. No matter how hard I tried, as a child and an adult, to learn my multiplication tables I just don't seem to retain the numbers. I also can't remember how to do division and %. I can do them if I have step by step instructions but as soon I've completed the maths I forget how I did it.
I am good with words though and won a scholarship at school for English/Art.
What's your quirk?

I thought of another one. I could not have mirrors in my bedroom. This was almost the deciding factor when it came to purchasing a house. Our current place has mirrored door built-in wardrobes. Exposure therapy does work. ;\

I don't get jokes.
I have NO sense of direction, could not tell you where north and south are. My car has to be parked in the same spot at the shopping centre and I have to use the same car park every time.
Noise: too many people talking in the same room and my head feels like it is going in circles.

Hanging up clothes. The coathanger hook should alway be pointing over to the left when the top/dress is facing you.
A couple off times I've done it wrong by mistake so I just try to tell myself not to be silly and hang it in the wardrobe. Then I have to go back two minutes later and turn it around the right way.

Numbers.
If someone dictates numbers to me I invariably write them down in the wrong order.
I know 4 times 8 is 32 but I'll write 24
I moved house nearly 12 months ago and still can't get my post code right. I know what it is but I write it wrong.
98 percent of my work involves writing down numbers :_|

I hate wire coat hangers, I have to check the doors are locked then go back and check them again.
I am good at maths, but do not remember my phone number, birthdays or anniversaries.
I carry a note book with my phone numbers.
My husband used to remember all those things and laugh at me when I forgot my own birthday

I also check the outside doors are locked then go back and check them again. I think in my case that is a hereditary trait as my Mother always did that (worse then I do).
She also has to unplug every electrical appliance before she goes to bed. I don't do that. Even now she is in a retirement home, in her room she has to have certain things just so, before going to bed - quirky things - like which side of the curtain overlaps the other. Move a cushion a fraction and she knows it ( a little OCD perhaps?).

I never drink all of a cup of coffee or tea, have to leave a bit in the bottom.....
same. The man even tried making me half a cup of coffee and I still left some.
and same with the numbers i see it right, i say it the wrong way round but I'll write it correctly.
If Im just writing it or playing bingo, I get double numbers the wrong way round.
I also cant say my R's without really concentrating. If Im overly tired they come out wong (yes I meant to do that)
I also have to check my alarm is set 6 times. I use to have 2 alarms and each one needed checking 6 times and no one is allowed to do it for me. Im getting better having only one alarm now:8}

I can't stand when anyone opens a new package/bottle/tube of something before the old one is finished.
When I visit my DD I have to bite my tongue about 3 opened tubs of margarine in the fridge, or 2 open packs of washing powder in the laundry.

Numbers, I just can't remember numbers. I still have to look up OH's mobile even though he's had the same number for a few years now,
