Do you take home the Aussie weekly earning average?

It is around $1450.......

$1227 for women and $1490 for men before tax....

I do not......I would have to work 10 hours overtime to come close.

I would guess the mining industry has effected this?

At the moment,yes.I earn that much in less than 2 days,up until late February,then I have a rest-for about 5 months;-)

I just give the papers to my mom and she takes it to the accountants. I've never payed attention to exactly how much I make. I do OK and I've never had to budget.
