Well....I imagine the term "adoptive parent" is just as offensive to many "adoptive parents".
But, you know, it's a complex issue, and seeing as no one has yet made widely available the politically correct terms (not that I've read or heard anyway), the majority of us are going to cause offense to some one at some time who is connected to this topic.

First I've heard that, although I haven't read the senate report, I've only seen and read the abc and sbs news coverage.
In his position I agree, he should have read the report and been aware of it if it has been identified as a significant issue.

OOhjh and get it right as well he didnt say Birth Mothers he said "birth parents".
There are 2 people involved in making a baby and they are the birth parents.....
