it doesn't bother me much unless it is when some deliberately trash a thread

using baiting, dragging up past issues just to target posters in that thread, it should stay in the past where it belongs.

or take it off the boards and hash it out there.

If something is more than merely off topic ...the posts would be classified as another violation wouldn't/shouldn't they ? interpersonal dispute,hostile comments etc rather than merely 'off topic'.

If I don't agree with and/or have a different opinion than any OP or poster and/or see things from various or different perspectives ...those things alone don't mean I'm being interpersonal and or off topic .Anyone who thinks I am merely on that basis is imo getting interpersonal and if anyone starts giving orders ,issuing threats because someone does any of the above...it's that individual who has the problem and their posts which should be seen as the problem.

Does anyone remember the KOT(Keep On Topic)  thread on the old M2M board? It was a little bit before my time but apparently it  drove the mods so barmy that in the end they gave in and created a special monthly chat thread on that board..

Off topic posts don't bother me at all, most threads tend to go off topic at some stage. It is a general chat board after all & everyone is entitled to an opinion.

Seeing innuendo posted about others in most threads gets a bit annoying though
