If another poster directly makes a post with a question to me, either by addressing me by ID or selectively quoting a sentence from a previous post of mine and wants to bring up something from threads long ago, or posts long removed (which are not up for discussion), then I am going to reply that I am not interested in discussing anything that is off topic
That happened a lot before the new changes, threads would end up with two posters going on and on about nothing anyone else was interested in or had anything to do with the thread topic and then others chipping in backing up the one that started it.

I suppose if one person ever becomes the entire population of CS ...they would know what everyone on CS thinks and likes and dislikes.

Does it bother you if threads go off topic?
nah not at all, and i doubt it really bothers the people who report me over it
...theyre just freakin dibby dobbers abusing the system, again again again......

Annie! hello x
'cept when going off topic is purposely used to trash the guts out of a thread, Take for instance one of mine the old tune thread which was then thrown into the underground F&G dugeon

not really.
I do have an issue when posters judge something as off topic and post to the whole board that what they believe is fact is so just because they state so is interpersonal and akin to using the boards to announce what they personally see as a violation
..it is an attempt to shut some members out of discussions and very close to them trying to or believing that they are an ebay employee with authority imo. It's a power trip
It isn't in the community spirit at all imo
