PM material do you think?
Undecided voters cheered him, makes you wonder whether they were really undecided.
It's not what you do in a debate in my view.
Penny Wong has described Tony Abbott as aggressive. I maintain he is a bit of a thug.

The incident with Lily happened last night. The one with her friend happened before he was PM. Allegedly.... yet neither woman has specified how he was rude.

No way am I going to C&P that one....it has swear words in it!
Thank you Azure for clearing that up.
Now I think we may be able to find just as many blunders for want of a better word from Mr Abbott?

Mr Abbott was the centre of controversy at the forum after he "does this guy ever shut up" about Mr Rudd during the televised debate.
But make-up artist Lily Fontana this morning seemed to indicate it was Mr Rudd who was the rudest of the two leaders behind the scenes.
Seemed to? so how was he rude? what did he say? what did he do?
I think her public comment was unprofessional, in her paid capacity.
Mr Abbott didn't say that to Mr Rudd, he said it to the hand picked audience.

She looks like a nice young lady. Why would she lie?

said in claire's thread,
abbott's a devious mass debater, and a troll.
rudd won the debate, proved his capability to ignore the tony troll's attempt to bait him, to try to best him as a person, by belittlement,
tried to divert the conversation from the real issues. he exposed abbott for failure to declare liberal's budget costin's, for their job loss plans, for their enormously-expensive paid parental leave programme (paid for by other australians, it would now appear), for their
slavish old ideas on work choices, etcetera
and finally, he exposed abbott for all to see, for his flamin' extreme arrogance
do australian want this offensive pig to be our future spokesperson, no, we flamin' don't

Wouldn't Mr Rudd be in a better position to make that call?

Why would anyone be rude in the first place?
on 22-08-2013 12:21 PM
To be honest I couldn't care less if the leader of our country was "nice" or not as long as he did his job.

I agree with you Az .
He said it to a PM and publicly, in front of the audience as well as all viewers ....and today as well as in the future anyone reading about it in that context ...here in Australia and overseas .
