Poor Monty our Jack Russell is going totally potty. Our back fence was demolished in the storms last week and as the yard opens onto a busy road we have had to keep him indoors since.
He goes for a walk twice a day, but he really wants to dive through the dog flap and roar around the backyard.
Hopefully it should only be another week before it is fixed.

Poor old Monty.
My son, living just outside of London, had his fence blown over in their recent storms, too. They don't have any pets, though.

Isn't that just what you love about dogs though?

You couldn't put up a temp chicken wire type fence in the mean time?

Twinkles, he would be under that in seconds. He has already tried to dig under a side colourbond fence which is set in concrete to get to his mate on the other side. This dog has serious problems. But we love him to bits. He is a perfect fit in our chaotic household.

We once used chicken wire stappled to the timber fence on each side and pickets at intervals. Then used tent pegs to hold the bottom in place. Our Border Collie/ Kelpie was kept safe while we were away and a friend stayed to feed him.

Thanks for that, we will give it a try this weekend.

๐ even if you stay there with him at least he can get a run
