A WA Liberal MP has claimed Australians are unknowingly being converted to Islam by eating Halal meat.

In a speech to Parliament yesterday, backbencher Luke Simpkins said most Australians did not know that most of the meat they ate came from animals killed in accordance with Muslim law.

“By having Australians unwittingly eating Halal food we are all one step down the path towards the conversion, and that is a step we should only make with full knowledge and one that should not be imposed upon us without us knowing,” Mr Simpkins told Parliament.

“What is happening is wrong. Too often the minorities in this country are looked after without regard to the majority.”

Mr Simpkins said he had carried out an unofficial survey in his northern-suburbs electorate of Cowan and had discovered that most meat at major chains such as Coles or Woolworths had been killed under Halal conditions, but had not been labelled as such.

He tabled a petition demanding that all Halal meat be clearly identified, complaining people could not buy meat for their “Aussie barbecue” without the influence of the “minority religion”.

My point was people living their life and get their moral from any ancient books and suddently lose the ability to think for themselves. 

You know which books I'm referring to. 

Do you know how many people have been killed for torturing crackers?

I think meat producers should foremost care about animal welfare. Praying over animals should not be part of their job.

In Australia even though all animals are supposed to be stunned before slaughter there are exemptions 

"However, there are instances where the relevant Australian state or territory meat-inspection authority can approve an abattoir for ritual slaughter without prior stunning - either halal or kosher - for the domestic market. These are effectively exemptions to standard Australian slaughter practice."

The web is full of shocking videos like this about the BARBARIC practice that is HALAL

So ask your self this, how is the meat you are buying from these butcher shops and Coles and Woollies etc that is HALAL.. HOW WAS IT SLAUGHTERED.

Last time i was at woollies there was a certificate displayed at the meat section but how many people read it?

I will never knowingly  buy Halal meat.  

The slaughter is barbaric and cruel.

There is a video out showing Halal slaughter of sheep in a Halal slaughter house in

London. Unfortunate, terrified sheep strung up be their feet and slowly dying.

I could not watch all of it.

And the article is correct - the aim of this  religion is  domination across the world either

by stealth or by force  (by the sword) and by outbreeding the resident population.  

This is why the death of the unfortunate soldier, in the UK recently in the manner he was killed (beheaded by the 'sword'), had more significance than was played out in

the media.

And it is encouraged for them to lie to other non believers in order to placate and reassure

the non believer.

Halal should be banned.  

On the radio traffic news a while back in sydney - some sheep were loose on the street in Bankstown.

Now for anyone who knows the Bankstown, the sheep were not there as pets and had a unfortunate backyard slaughter awaiting them.

Didnt you recently make a comment about a Muslim cleric who appeared on Q and A, about how impressed you were by his intelligence, or something like that?

So no, I do not think religious people lose the ability to think for themselves.

I do agree with you on one thing though, Bob and that is the ritual slaughter.  I am against that.
