My neighbour gave me one like this once, but I never used it, never had a space for it.
I just hang mine on the lampshade and stick the lapel pins on the shade:
or off the little jewellry box on the bathroom windowsill:

nah icy - so I can wear them and they don't fall off!
SIN - the napkin rings would be like scout's woggles though and slide off, eh?

There used to be a sort of fancy spiral design thingey that I used. Sort of like a spring/coil.
How about a dress ring? Slide the ring up to the position required; then re-insert one end of the scarf again, to hold in place?

Surely nobody wears those rings around their scarves anymore?
You loop them around your neck so it looks like your wearing a fancy neckbrace, then tuck the ends through the loop to hold it in place.

Oh, and I use a thing like this for my fashion earrings and other bits and peices - one for hair things, one for makeup bits- we have a fair few of these now to pop all sorts of little bits and pieces in - kids use them toio for their smaller bits and peices
I store my good jewellery correctly though

I can see it would be - having to go out to the bank just to get the right earrings for an outfit...

crikey,i do what deb describes, except i put both tail ends back through. that way it looks kinda like a brooch holding the scarf. you just make sure the scarf part that wraps around is on the sides. does that make any sense, lol?
i have some filigree rings, and some really nice enamelled ones with pagodas and cranes, stuff like that. and a couple of porcelain pieces with celtic rings in the porcelain, but those puppies are HEAVY! they drag the scarf down too far.
icy,i've never been the fashionable type,i tend to lean towards a more timeless look. at least with my scarves and pins, and with dressup clothes for work anyway, lol,i have dreadful taste in normal clothing!:D
