Is it just me or does anybody else think of hot cross buns on sale is just madness straight after christmas .You would think we could resist the thought of more chocolate and sweets in such a short space of time...I refuse to buy a hot cross bun until easter has arrived that way i really look forward to the enjoyment of one and the true meaning behind the hot cross bun

It might seem like madness to us, but the retailers like to keep us spending spending spending.
You're right, Jenni, I can't bear the thought of chocolate or fruit cake (buns) at the moment.

Considering the major dept stores start putting out their Christmas decs in beginning of August, I suppose putting out Easter stuff in Jan is not that far out.
I won't buy Easter eggs until closer to Easter though. Hot Cross buns I like and will buy them before Easter, when they are marked down at the end of the day because no one else is buying them.

Yes, what about Valentines Day, and Australia Day for that matter.
