I don't know if anyone is watching this but it is so heartbreaking to see what happened (and is still happening) in areas of outbreak.

Those people who went over to help (and those governments who didn't hesitate to help their citizens that wanted to help) are such heroes.

We can't argue with that.

Some of the boardies here are involved in kiva loans, myself included.
We loan to needy people or groups around the globe through kiva, better than straight donations, lenders pay it back so we can reloan.
Unfortunately some of my loans, as have others in our team, become delinquent due to lenders passing away from the ebola virus.
Not only is it a tragedy of a member of their family passing, but is often the bread winner in a large family already struggling to keep food on the table, clothes for the children or clean water available.
I don't normally advocate causes but if anyone is interested in helping needy individuals around the globe in the way of micro loans, please feel free to look at kiva.org and join our community spirit team on kiva. There is a thread on kiva.
Thank you.

Thank you Kopes.
I have been looking at the Kiva Loans. It is such an easy way to hlp people in need, and to know that your money is going directly to the people and not only a small percentage after administration and wages have been taken out of every dollar one donates. A small sum can help in a big way, and even if the loan becomes delinquent, one knows that for a while ones contribution helped a family.
