it wasnโt meant that way martin. I was just getting in before anyone asked if I was on any form of assistance, not that assistance means you spend someone elseโs money.

As long as the economy stagnates, some businesses (esp retail) will go under.....as has been reported recently.
It's not just bricks and mortar shops either. Three favourite online shops that I bought from regularly have closed down in the last year.
As the pollies....the next one who says electricity bills will be going down when it actually never happens, should be electrocuted. That should put a stop to that nonsense.

Martin, if you will not be able to work for any length of time shouldn't you be on some sort of sickness benefit?
Are you able to apply for jobs to qualify for Newstart?

Thanks for that information Martin.....just shows how long since I have dealt with Newstart.
All I have to worry about now is paying our Workers Compensation Policy for a policy that is useless because of our ages.
So much for encouraging workers to work past retirement age.
