Girls, don't listen to those pontificating old men at the hardware store, who tell you the only way to get scratches out of floor boards is to use a "specially colored wax" and "wax cloth." I tried that until my floor resembled a Jackson Pollack painting. Scraped it all off and then had a lightbulb moment. Perhaps canola oil would work, maybe season the scratch and make it appear less obvious?
Well, voila!!! Still a scratch there - but it's dark coloured, not bright white, narrowed considerably and looks like it's been there for years - hardly noticeable at all. Cost me about 30 cents of oil and five minutes - after fifteen dollars and an hour wasted time with the wax and after a half hour listening to the "old dears" at the hardware store who thought they knew more than this ol' girl!!!
There's still some life in the old goat yet!!!
See yas in an hour!!!

Is nugget a euphemism for something else?
