Feeling Old

I am off today to see my youngest granddaughter graduate from younger school. 

It only seems like yesterday she started school, I remember her standing there with her uniform on wear that school sun hat which seemed so big on her. 

And that school backpack.

Next year she is off to midschool.

I know how you feel. My granddaughter starts school next year. It seems like yesterday when I was nursing her as a baby. I think the time seems to go quicker as you get older, compared with when we are kids and the year between Christmases seems to drag by.

Might just be me, but I would think being or feeling old wouldn't be so bad when you can see younger parts of yourself out there making their way in the world.

Younger school?, mid school? must be diffrent there. here its preschool or headstart, elementary school, middle school, then high school. maybe collage for some..

I was having a bad morning this morning  Younger school  =  Junior school

Here the school my granddaughter goes to have Junior school, middle School and then senior school. after which they go to university.

I guess we all have those from time to time. I used to think about how bad my year was going and say next year will be my year, 2012 or 2013 will be my year, but never happends, each year just gets that much worse. I still have days that are better or worse than the last, but the following year is always worse. Just when I think it can't be any worse, it proves me wrong.  2014 has not yet been as bad as 2013 given what happened on November 15th 2013, but it was bad enough

Here the school my granddaughter goes to have Junior school, middle School and then senior school. after which they go to university.

I couldn't wait to finish out all my required school and get into the workforce earning money. Just didn't like having to go to school, seemed like work without pay, and really didn't get anything from it. That was before computers and internet though. Now with instant access to information worldwide, learning don't seem so bad. Being a substitute custodain for a school distric for 5 years, i see the diffrence, As a student,  I had no computers or TVs in every classroom, I had books passed down through generations of students.

With a nice PC and decent internet, theres really no need for schools anymore, I can learn anything right here that can be learned in school.

This morning 9.54am my younges Great-granddaughter was born. That makes eight Great-grandchildren for me.

Do I feel old???

Never!             Only my children and grandchildren are getting old.
