hm... how many posters here can speak for the people with a mental illness and say that the phrase "nutjob" is not offensive??

It is a word used often to describe people with a mental illness that are experiencing  severe symptoms.

Nutjob is not used to describe people with a mental illness, unless you call harassment of others with threats of violence and vitriol a mental illness.  That's a nutjob.

I am offended that I speak from personal experience yet I am told that I am wrong... that no one calls people with MI nutjobs.... some people really do need reality checks....

I spent years being different .. all my life while growing up young I have been very different...

I was referred to as a nutjob...  on many occasions...

Don't go rewriting the book of bully words just to suit this PM's agenda...
