Agreed! And it's not just due to the ear folds. Some years ago I was at a cat show with open judging and a show steward brought out a tabby patterned cat to be judged. The cat was not chunky enough to be one of the show standard British shorthaired breeds and this wasn't the domestic/part pedigreed section judging at the show.
The cat had the sweetest expression I had seen in a long time...she was beautiful. In the end I asked one of the show stewards what breed she was. I was told she was a Scottish Shorthair....in other words a straight eared Scottish Fold. Gorgeous cat.
