Baby spinach for me!
I have it in green smoothies, in salads and on my sub at Subway!

I don't know if you have Lays potato chips over there, but they just came out with a new flavor---cappuccino. OMG, I love them!!!!!! Heart In addition to the cappuccino flavor they have a light amount of sugar. So you get both a sweet and salty taste sensation in addition to the cappuccino flavor.

I know you're thinking it sounds horrible and that's what I thought too until I tried some. They're part of a contest where the public suggested different and odd flavors for potato chips. I didn't like the other three flavors offered up for voting on (macaroni and cheese with bacon, mango and  salsa, and wasabi and ginger), but as I said, I love this one. The winner of the contest gets a million bucks. So I'm torn between wanting to vote for the cappuccino chips so they'll stick around but, thereby, helping somebody else get rich when I'm a stinking pauper angry.gif or just stock up on bags of them while the going's good.

I probably shouldn't be eating them anyway though because my formerly slender and attractive ankles are getting fat and puffy from so much salt intake. Woman Sad.

Also, my feet feel kind of squishy when I walk.

Here's a picture of the bag they come in:

Artful!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You've reminded me of all the wonderful crisps they sell in the UK that you can't (easily) get here or in the US. Prawn cocktail, Bovril, beef, Worcestershire sauce ... *sigh* it's about time I headed off to eBay to buy some more.

I haven't made any startling food discoveries lately, except pearl couscous ... it's like ordinary couscous, except it comes in little balls, not grains.

Secondhand-wonderland ... it's all delicious ... and the salads, and cheeses, and dhalls, and samosas ... and the lovely rice ...

If you'd like a recommendation for some decent Indian cookbooks, I'd suggest Charmaine Solomon.

ACK, it's steak sandwiches for dinner tonight, lol. A bit dull, in comparison, eh?

Yummo.

Come back and tell us how it was and post the recipe if you liked it.

The yoghurt sauce (raita) is really easy to make, as you may have found out already ...
