In the last few months, Hubs and I have been watching this show on 7two:

Paul O'Grady: For the Love of Dogs is a British documentary in which comedian Paul O'Grady follows the work of Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. In each episode the cameras follow Paul as he leaves his home to help rehome some of Battersea's Dogs.

After last week's episode they said that's the end of the series, which made quite sad.
Imagine my joy when I saw Season 2 advertised for tonight.
7pm on 7two.
Join me.

Paul O'Grady started his TV career as a Drag Queen. (Prior to Television, he worked the pubs and clubs as Lily Savage). He's now retired from that genre, and concentrates on hosting a chat show, and being a presenter of TV programmes relating to animals. Also filmed another series of programmes called 'Animal Orphans'.

Icy, seeing that you have an interest in dogs you might gravitate to watching dog rescue stories on Youtube. Some of the rescues in India are rather confronting. Whatever you do DO NOT watch Jordan's Journey. I watched it and I was very moved.
Most of the dog rescue stories have a positive outcome. One that I did watch was the story of a dog collapsed on the side of the road somewhere in India. The dog had distemper plus a few other problems. In spite of all its maladies the dog got his tail working overtime as the rescue crew approached it. The story has a positive outcome.

I saw Jordan's journey, VP.
I don't specially go to youtube to watch them, but I often click on to them when I'm browsing on Facebook.
