My family tell me Billy would be turning in his grave that I have pushed him aside for Damien Leith.
Not true, Billy's style changed a bit too much for me and anyway, I went to a gig of his not too long before he passed away and I was fortunate enough to secure a 'ticket' to attend his funeral at the Sydney Entertainment Centre.
My name 'Braff' evolves from my Billy Thorpe days. :-x โซ
oh yes, Billy. I adored Billy. I still think his version of Somewhere over the Rainbow is the best ever. Especially the one they played at his funeral. RIP Billy.
