And?
Commercial fish are left to suffocate on a boat/trawler after they are caught.
Quite frankly, this is probably more humane.

I don't think it is legal in Australia to cut and clean a fish whilst still alive. Don't know for sure. I notice she put the cleaned fish on the plate ready to be served. Yuck. It was still moving.

I am afraid it is legal for large catches for commercial fish.
If you eat fish bought at a supermarket or fish shop, then the chances are you have eaten a fish that has not been killed humanely.
Are you going to stop eating fish too?

Fishermen should have to put the fish on ice to render them unconscious it is not right to do it like that.

The RSPCA do not think that putting fish on ice is acceptable or humane.

It's got to be more humane than this.

I don't think so.
If they are not on ice, they suffocate more quickly. Ice simply prolongs the time they are alive and trying to get air.
So if a fish had a choice between a quick couple of chops that took seconds to kill them or left to fend for themsleves on a bed of ice (a slow tortuous death that takes 1 - 4 hours depending on the fish), I suspect they would vote for sashimi.

UFO is on the Beanz means Heinz diet. Unfortunately Heinz sell products with the Halal label.
