Freya Newman To Join The Greens

THE student who leaked details of Frances Abbott’s scholarship has been selected for a position with The Greens.

Freya Newman, 21, was successful in securing a paid internship in the office of Greens Senator Lee Rhiannon after the part-time position was advertised in November 2014.

“Following an extensive application process involving over 160 applicants and two rounds of interviews we offered the position to Freya,” Ms Rhiannon said.

“Freya was an outstanding applicant and we are very much looking forward to having her on board.”

What's the major problem with what Freya did?

Is it that she targeted an Abbott?

Is it that she questioned the process of awarding a non-advertised, non-existant to other students scholarship?

Is it that she dared to step outside her box instead of protecting the rights to secrecy of underhand deals of the born to rulers?

It's all a bit puzzling.

you seem to get confused and puzzled a lot.

It's the fact that she hacked into someone else's email to gain personal information (which is a chargable offence) to pass on to to a publisher who she knew would use the information against the Prime Minister and his family.

Gets charged but walks away without conviction because the judge took into her account her youth and her future career.

Then after all that gets a job in POLITICS where there is constant investigation into spying and newsleaks and phone-bugging incidents.

The Greens obviously thought she was highly qualified for the job. She'll fit

She'll make a career for herself  alright. She'll fit right in.

She didn't "hack", she accessed information after logging in as another.
Walked away a bit like Peta Credlin walked away from drink driving charges. Perhaps it's not uncommon for people to receive light sentences when they are not habitual offenders and have good prospects.  With all the money spent on anti drink driving campaigns what were they thinking in keeping Credlin on instead of sending her to prison where many other offenders would end up.
Is Freya standing for election?  I thought she accepted an electorate position.  My mistake.

It's not drink driving. It's not assault. No she's not standing for election.

It's the fact that she's a known spy who passes on information to the media. THAT's what makes her appointment as a staffer in a political party so unpalatable.

So a bit like the plant Brough sent to work in Slipper's office to spy on him and help get him evicted. James Ashby ring any bells?

Commies and socialists love crims and so do the left on here... so freya should get on very well with commie lee and the commie greens... and she will be supported by the crim loving left on here....

Is that what passes for an intelligent and constructive argument in far right circles?

Frankly defending this type of criminal activity is sickening but to be expected from the left on here.

Criminal conviction or Not, she will have to declare she was CHARGED and got a GOOD BEHAVIOR BOND

on most VISA Applications if she travels overseas. The US have refused entry visas in the past just because

of the charge.

So she won't just walk into places like most people who haven't carried out criminal acts.

I don't think so..................
