Geoffrey Rush has only (so far) been accused of "inappropriate behaviour" - and even then, only in a complaint to STC. Nothing suggesting any sort of sexual harassment or criminal behaviour, although it should be borne in mind that actual details of the nature of the complaint haven't been made public - Rush himself didn't even know the details.
Interestingly, the cast member making the complaint (whose name is out there if you look hard enough) gushed in articles at the time of the play about him being "playful" and "cheeky". Part of the role involved Rush having physical contact with her in the performances, and rehearsals.
As always, you'd wonder why the cast member didn't make a complaint at the time, rather than eighteen months or so down the track.
Cornerstone of the defamation suit, I'd think, would be the accuser being required to testify on oath in the court-room, whether called by Rush's legal team, or as a defence witness.
