We have a sculpture of what looks like giant smarties along one of our freeways. Stupid looking thing.

lets hope they hire a new designer

Stupid art. Why do we need it?  It doesn't feed the homeless or heal the sick. What an utter waste of money.

This sculpture is on the Forrest Highway between Perth and Bunbury. Looks great at night when the inner blue lights are working which they are at present:) .....ref. icecream cones. I am getting attached to the 'cones' and look for them on the drive.

I love public art and it never seems like a waste of money to me.  I like the milk crate idea .  They could set up a little abseiling business on it for tourists 😄

adds sparkle to our urban and rural environ IMO. It's all about fun and identity. Where's the harm in that?

I can't see where it says the designs have been chosen yet.  Surely the others are more interesting to look at than the milk crate one.  We can hope they are anyway.
