NSW had a lot to learn from Victorians.  I wish them the best  but why did it take Gladys a month to realise that pussyfooting around this would do her no favors.

Now it looks like Morrison is throwing her under the bus too, as he does with everyone.

I never understand why you keep blaming  the govt . (Oh, actually, I do! )

It’s not the government’s fault that people aren’t wearing masks during a mandatory mask order.
It’s not the government’s fault that people are attending church, parties, gatherings, during a mandatory lockdown order.

It’s not the government’s fault that people are outside in droves downtown (in the next suburb),  during mandatory stay-at-home orders.

It’s not the Government’s fault that idiots are out in the THOUSANDS attending a protest about lockdown, exposing themselves and their children to a deadly virus, not to mention pepper-spray! No masks !!!!!

NO BLOODY WONDER PEOPLE ARE DYING!

NO BLOODY WONDER THE VIRUS IS SPREADING!
NO BLOODY WONDER!!!

…..and then there’s you, who has nothing better to do than post YouTube links that degrade a woman who has done nothing wrong except follow the advice of her advisors and the WHO, who has taken time EVERYDAY to address the public with updates, who is clearly under stress and showing signs of exhaustion! What a big man you are! What a catch! ….and your followers (4C is of no better quality of a human being!)

Absolutely disgusting degrading behaviour.
I even wonder at what level of covid-compliance ‘posters’ such as yourself are adhering to?

Get a grip, or get lost!
You’re just an internet bully; being a forum troll; with nothing more to do in life except be a keyboard warrior!
You have nothing to offer!

Gladys ducks and weaves everyday in front of the press. Blames everyone for her incompetence. Meanwhile, Scott is pressuring the states to re-open in the hope it will aid him and his corrupt cronies get re-elected. He cites the magic figure of 70%-80% of the adult population being vaccinated as the way forward to re-opening the country/economy. In the U.K. where 77% of the adult population is vaccinated, between 100-120 people are dying every day from covid. Adjusting for the population difference, Scott is happy to see about 350 Australians die every week so he can grace us with his incompetence and corruption for another 3 years.

We may nit agree on everything and you and I have different takes on this issue myoclon1cjerk. As with my belief of freedom to choose, I believe other strategies should have been implemented right from the get go. I refer to early stage treatment with drugs which is not only safe but effective. Proven!  And for those who choose vaccination, this treatment under proper medical supervision could be complementary.  I always stress under medical supervision.

You have done well to bring forth some great info and there I agree with you on the way things are being run or not run. Nepotism is rife! And reading some of the selections you've given us, I've discovered a few more disturbing things. So thanks for that and keep 'em coming. It's people like you who post some really interesting content. 👍

It's a well-known fact that the tendering process is circumvented with contracts being given to friends and associates of politicians.  Australia is rife with this. This probably means nothing straight away to the man in the street as people still get fed by wages and jobs are created etc.. But in the building game this can sometimes have horrific consequences. Take Sydney for example!   Some people in Aust. were not allowed back in  their homes due to shoddy rush construction jobs etc.. Worst case scenario is when a building such as the one in Miami, Florida  fall down with the people still inside. Some cases such as these are due to nepotism, and even bribes. I'm not suggesting that a certain current premier is involved in this kind of caper. I just watch the smoke drift where it do!

Do some research, janeababe. She is corrupt as is her deputy. Handouts to her corrupt boyfriend to splash around in his electorate are just the scratchting the surface.

The thing is a lot of the people that spread the virus around the state were not breaking any laws at the time.

She failed to shut down hard to appease the business community.

Morrison is now spruiking the lie that 70% vaccination renders Australia safe when the evidence from overseas suggests nothing of the sort. He's in a mad rush because a federal election is looming. He and Gladys and co. don't give a rats for peoples safety.

If constantly highlighting the LNP's corruption, not to mention things like sexual abuse, rape, associating with people who protect paedophiles and foisting loonies on society like Christensen, Caveman and Kelly labels me a troll, then that's a badge I'll wear with pride.

Seriously Myo - what has any of that to do with Covid.

This is a pandemic - not a political argument.

This has been around for 18 months - one would think - mandates - lockdowns - and all the sh$$$t that goes with those - would be a ' lifestyle ' - for the moment.

Laws - be damned - common sense.

If as you say - they don't give a so called damn about peoples lives - the next election will tell.

Well - those of us still around to vote.

It don't take a great mind to enjoy - name calling - it's not only childish - it's in your ID - would you like to be referred to as ' Jerk '.

Now with observing the attitudes of pro-appeasement Canberra/NSW powers one wonders whether the agenda via the next contagion incident regretfully mis-managed , was to encourage the mass vaccination to the 80%  , the level which Government can obviously feel safe to hand ball deadly new virus health responsibility from them to the individual as in regular deadly established virus influenza

ie vaccines available , historically 500 - 4000 untimely deaths per year acceptable  with no required effective tourist or migrant mitigation counter - measures and questionable aged care counter flu systems in place

Wrong!, LNP fangirl. It's all political. That's why you've jumped on me, because I attacked your party.

Morrison has screwed up from day one with this pandemic. Quarantine facilities located in our most populated centres for starters instead of using say Christmas Island or somewhere else. Then there's the vaccine rollout. A complete farce. Panic stations. Bring in the military and use a 3 word slogan. Operation Covid Shield.🤮

And while this is going on and most of the country is shut down, more revelations of Morrison's corruption with the carpark rorts.

The only jerks here are the kinds that re-elect these criminals. Self-centred and lacking in any moral fibre.

Something else to consider...

Deaths from flu, etc., have dropped dramatically as a result of people using social distancing in certain settings, masks, and hand sanitising. Correct cough etiquette is also something to encourage.

These may be things we need to maintain in the future if we want to reduce flu deaths and deaths from other respiratory diseases transmitted via aerosol. And... we should stay home if feeling ill. No more soldiering on and thinking that that's brave or responsible.
