Evening all
once i had a huge stash of wool
one day i said enough was enough and got rid of the whole lot gave it all to my mum told her anything she didn't want to pass it on to someone else.
now i just have a humongus stash of embroidery to do and cottons maybe enough to start off my own shop LOL.
but the truth is i should part with some of it but i can't or more to the point i don't want to.
i also have been busy of late doing pieces .
i just finished tonight a t towel that had a sailor on it and is part of a set of 7 days of the week all made from old flour bags.
i have now got it soaking to get the age marks out of it. that yellow
will need to soak it for a few days i think.

Good Morning, WOW! what a flat out morning
i am glad it is rest time now.
although i do have to go find out if miss handed in her lunch order as she left it at home
we took it over but it all depends on wether they accepted it or not SIGH.
it is cold overcast and windy AGAIN!
yes sure pepe will post pics of it, not sure how long i will need to soak it or if all the yellow will come out as it was pretty bad as it was a really old flour bag , and i bought the set of them like it thought they maybe worth saving.

I am good, still decluttering or avoiding doing that.
What do you soak old linens in to get them clean, get stains out of them?

either napisan or i use sards soaker.
i change the water and soaker everyday until it comes up as good as new.
some came be quite stubborn to get out also gently rub in the cake of sards soap with the soaker as that gives it extra help.

Thanks, that is what I was thinking of, wasn't sure if those products were too harsh.
Hehe.. I have had that thought to .. just biff everthing into boxes and donate it (stuff that is still useful), or bin it.
