That's a good idea Karen, thank you, I'll do that for sure now xx
I've been just looking at it on the laptop in the other room, but that idea is much better.

Oh my Flannie, did it go down for long? We must have just missed that part of it, but the lights did flicker quite a bit ... the computers and other equipment stayed on though and I'd finished baking by then as well.
The plane was hit by lightning? In the sky or on the ground?? ...either way, that would keep me grounded well and truly until I was very sure there were no storms around. Don't like the sound of that, I'm not comfortable with flying at the best of times, but in storms, oh save me!

I keep having to edit my posts, my spelling is atrocious tonight; don't know why, must have been all that baking ...

It's horrible having to bunk in at airports. Had to do that twice, once in Anchorage (Alaska) and later at Calgary (Canada) when it was snowed in, was awful.

No they don't say much to inform the passengers Flannie do they .. sigh!! In Anchorage, it got to the stage where the runway was cleared and the plane deiced, but didn't make an announcement, half the passengers missed their flight. We were lucky because we were in the frequent flyer lounge and it was announced in there, but not in the general waiting area. Couldn't believe it, crazy stuff.
