It's really cool here today, totally overcast, drizzly and cold, love it .... 

Awful given what the mainland is going through in places though isn't it, temperatures 40 and above .. ... I just could not cope with that, 23-25 is enough for me.

Hoping everyone is ready for Christmas now? ....

Lucky Tassies having cold weather. Makes is so much easier to get through the jobs that need to be done. It was nice and cool overnight, but back up to 36 today. I can handle that, it is the 40 plus temps that I find draining. My daughters wedding day in 2001 saw temps of 46 degrees. Lovely day, but oh so hot. The grandmother of the groom ended up in hospital with dehydration. 😞

oh katy that would have been horrible and taken a bit of the shine off the wedding.

hope all the sickies and walking wounded are on the mend soon.

i'm in housecleaning mode seeing as its nice and cool - its a throwback to my childhood, my mother would always do a spring clean the week before christmas - she motivated us by saying 'santa won't come to a messy house!!'

all these years later it has stuck with all of us and we all told our kids the same thing....

she also told us the bunnies in the paddock were santas helpers and told him if we were being naughty - i tried that on my son but gave it up when he said he would pull out the dibber dobbers fur.

Shopping done, bought myself another christmas present LOL

I have to clean the car tomorrow. to tired to do it today, I notice when I was driving cat foot prints all over the wind screen.

I cant believe the days are going so fast

I had a lovely day with a long visit to a Market with 2 chaps, we had a gr8 time and bought a few bits and pieces each
It was a bit tricky..keeping tabs on 2 men wandering through the crowds..but I managed to not lose either of them

Then over to the local hotel for a really nice lunch..we all thoroughly enjoyed our day, but were feeling a little tired by the time we got home at 3.00
😛

Now we are watching a Dickens dvd ..and trying to stay awake
