Thought I would share these pics. Wish I had thought of them for the red photo theme.
The little shoes were made for my youngest son when he was born. My FIL's father was a cobbler in England. When he moved here he worked at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne making shoes and boots for kids who needed calipers etc. He was in his eighties when he made them, and passed away the following year.
They are tiny boots, size 3, and never worn. Anyway long story short, my FIL gave me the little wooden mould that they were made on. Just last week actually. I love it to bits.
