Hope you all had a great Christmas, I am full and happy, had six well behaved children here today.

Thank goodness for the dish washer, I have used it twice in about two years, it had a good run today and the Teenages were very happy because they were told to do the dishes 🙂

Good evening, well Kiwis must have heaps of money, boxing day spend up was the biggest in History.

In the main centres it was mayhem, not here in Papamoa, every one well behaved, went and spent my vouchers, had a nice cup of coffee then came home.

No shops for me Lion, I had a nice quiet day reading and napping.

Katy I went for a walk down to the beach to try and get rid of a few pounds from yesterday.

Just before Christmas I had a piece of paper with Merry Christmas on it put in my letter box.

Could see it was written by a child.

A adult had written on it do not throw away.

So how long do I have to keep it ???

LOL I will use it as a book mark as long as it lasts 🙂

Morning all.

Kids are great aren't they Lion? My gd had her mother buy some plain serviettes to give one to each family member. She decorated them with fabric paint and wrote "Love Kate" at the bottom. I told her I will use mine every day. Her face lit up like the xmas tree. 

Well I asked OH how long before he got bored with retirement. He said I am almost there. 🙂 I plan on giving him an accomodation voucher for his birthday (april) so we can spend some time away. He will be fit by then. Thinking of heading for the mountains to take in the autumn scenery.

Good morning to the Good Morning thread ..... 

I haven't been on this thread for a while, but I do read it each day.

What's everyone going to be doing for new years day?  We are going to be doing a little bit of "digging" in the garden in the way of replanting some potted colour flowers because we didn't do it correctly to start with and they are sitting too high ... sigh! ... but live and learn, at least they are still alive ....

Ours was a very hard day ,but also a lovely day ,went to dil's mum and bro and his family came and mil ...relaxing day ..
Not for the fellas ..they put the swing set together ...omg !!
Us girls should have done it lol .
