Good Morning

Hope the rain does come then Lion. Lawns usually green up pretty quickly after rain.

Heading out shortly to take Mum to a school function. The local primary school have asked her to open a time capsule. She is a past teacher at the school, and the oldest local resident. Boy has she been kicking up a stink over it for the last couple of months. Wants to go, doesn't want to go. lol. Hasn't got any clothes to wear, etc etc. She has a lot of very nice and quite expensive clothes. The only problem is that she no longer remembers that she has them.

Suppose I will survive, I don't want to go either, but need to help Mum get dressed in the clothes she ended up choosing.

Tell you about it later. lol

Good Morning

Good evening Katy and Richo.

Katy cant wait to hear what your mum wore and how your day was.

I bought some new Slacks and shorts today, laid them on the bed, came back and Lilli was asleep on them, she has the whole queen size bed and decides to sleep on my new clothes, very warm here today about 28.

Good Morning

Lion she looked good, nice black slacks and a black pepper 3/4 sleeve blouse. She had a little hissy fit because the cat brushed up against her trousers. She spent 5 mins picking imaginary cat hair off them. Either that or she has better eyesight than me, because I couldn't see them.

I think she actually enjoyed herself once we got there. She was chatting away to neighbours and rellies.

I got her a nice piece of banana cake and a coffee. The cake didn't meet her specifications, so I ate that and went back to get her a sandwich. Nup, had ham in it, and she refused it. Fair dinkum, I can't win, ham is her favourite. The breeze blew the sanger off the paper plate anyway, and that was the end of it. Then she wanted banana cake. grr.

Good Morning

Morning all.

Thanks Helen, Mum is a 91 year old who knows what she wants. lol. Mostly what she doesn't want really. 🙂

Lion, looks like the great whites have finally figured out the massed attack thing. I wouldn't go in deeper than my ankles.

Quiet day today, no visit to Mum as I was there yesterday.
