Usual chaos here as the year draws to a close and we can get finished up with it all.

Other stuff happening, sanding of the floors and we're now ducting the house via the ceiling (at the same time) .... oh my, what a rush of tradies all over the place, but they are doing excellent work and they are efficient and keeping to the schedule so it all helps!

Raining here today, so pretty much stuck inside. I am weeding out a lot of books to take to the op shop.

Good afternoon Katy

The 21st I have a house warming up bush and then the 27th is a poker run to raise funds for the Free Australia party, both will be big week ends and then its school holidays, want to take all the kids camping or atleast to the shack. 

Then I really need to be around in October as its the first year anniverary and I dont want to be away from the Gran kids plus the younest turns 18 in October, then it is November and will try really hard to get a couple of weeks in traveling before it gets too hot. 

I really want to get back to Yambuk lake as we had to rush back the last time

You have pretty much the rest of the year mapped out.

I had a look at Yambuck Lake on maps. I didnt realise it was on the coast. Looks like a lovely spot. If you do go back you will have to post some pics.

Its a fantastic spot with great fishing in the lake, very peaceful.

Hawk you do have a busy life, I am going to the Gold Coast in October and have a wedding in February in Papamoa, that is about it.

I feel like I have been hibernating in the winter and have finally woken up, another beautiful day here.
