Morning all.
Thanks Tas and Joono.
My world turned upside down when I realised the bloke I thought was invincible suddenly wasn't. I thank whoever was watching over him that he didn't ignore the warning signs he had two weeks ago. His younger brother died instantly from a massive heart attack at the age of 59 a few years back.

Thanks Lion. Youngest son came around yesterday and cut the lawn and swept up outside. Of course we had a storm after he did that though. 🙂 I haven't been outside to look yet, but bet there will be *hite everywhere again.
DD will be around to look after his after care, wound etc. She is an amazing help to us.

lion sharks are scary, when I think back to when we were kids and how far out we used to go at sea.....I think we were crazy lol, I wont let my kids go passed paddling depth haha. I am like that with aircrash investigation show, then after watching it I think I will never fly again
just reading back, omg Katy, so glad your DH has pulled through ok,
now to make sure he rests up and takes it easy and doesn't overdo things.....easier said then done, we know what blokes are like.
so glad they discovered how bad things were so they could intervene.

Good evening everyone
Glad OH is OK Katy, he will have to retire now and enjoy things he has worked for, I imagine the things he thinks are important will change a little.
good on the election result, a lot more independants are needed, as long as they remember they are there for the people and not just to tow a party line
Thinking of you Annie, life seems to get harder as we get older, it should get easier but it never seems to.

Thanks for the good wishes Oz and Hawk.
I just spoke to him on the phone, he sounds b awful to be honest. He is pretty drugged up, as he should be. DD rang this morning at 9.30 and they had him out sitting in a chair. I was stunned actually, seems so soon. I rang again at 2.30 and he was fast asleep.
Hawk he had more or less retired, only a few days before his slight attack. If his customers had anything to do with it he would still be working at 80 lol. Anyway his body has told him enough is enough.
We had a ripper thunderstorm last night, with about 15 mls rain. Saved me from watering OH's vege garden tonight.

Katy they do there best to keep people as mobile as posible because of risk of clots forming while laying about and to stop loss of mucle as its so hard to get it back if its lost.
I think Oz could confirm that
