I cried in The Way We Where and I cried in Beaches (every time) so must have been a good love story.
I do know some real love stories that would make a great movie and make you cry.

I know a lot of girls put down THe notebook as their fav movie and wished it was them. But let's look at the movie objectively.
The guy(can't remember his name) blackmailed the girl to go out with him. When he was clearly rejected, he wouldn't take no for an answer and repeatedly stalk and harrassed her until she did. And later on, the girl slept with the guy when she was engaged to be married. So are all these qualities to be admired in a real life love story???

he didnt stalk ad harrass her.
His friend and her friend set them up on a date. She didnt seem to upset by it.
And yes, its a real life love story. There love stood the test of time to eventually see them die in eashothers arms in old age

ridiculous.
I hate most conventional love story flicks, so cliche and boring.
I second Wall-E and Ghost. LOL. And add The Wedding Singer.

I had the same problem with one of the songs from the mikado, lakeland. 😄
I'm a black and white girl too, so Casablanca, An Affair to Remember (that's the one where she is run over going to the Empire State Building whoever posted that 🙂 ) Camelot and Brief Encounter.
And Shrek of course!
